Why doesn’t my body wash foam up when taking a shower during the afternoons?

Al asked:

I normally shower in the morning and use body wash to clean my body. The body wash foams up in the body sponge I use when I do shower in the mornings. Though sometimes I do shower in the afternoons or evenings on the weekends … and when I do, the body wash doesn’t foam up at all. When I squeeze the body sponge no foam comes out all, but just liquid soap and water. It’s as if there really isn’t any soap in the body sponge at all.

Why is this? This is really weird. Can anyone explain this to me.
