What’s the difference between body wash and shower gel?

What’s the difference between body wash and show gel? How can I distinguish the product is either for males for females?

    body wash is usually more moisturizing, women seem to prefer it.
    shower gel isnt as moisturizing. its more like regular soap…

    one isnt for men or women. its based on preference…

    Shower gel is gel, not foam or soap. Also Gel may not have antibacterials in it. Generally, woman’s body wash/gel has a flowery scent, and mens will have something like sandalwood or arctic rush.

    well you can usually tell by what scen ti t is…there isnt really a diff between wash and gel
