What exactly is the difference between a beauty bar soap and body wash?

I’m asking because I’ve been using St. Ives body wash a while, but the other day I purchased 2 Dove Go Fresh beauty bars..

For both sexes know that in certain ingredients body wash may not prefer using soap but this is just personal preference.
For womans tastes and designed for both sexes know that in certain cases soap over body wash because.

For spas and such im assuming beauty bar soap would help heal stress.
