Is it okay to use body wash that the bottle has been exposed to hot water?

I just bought some new body wash, and while I was putting on a wee more, someone flushed the toilet and there was this surge of really hot water for about 3-5 seconds. And so the bottle got exposed to it. It’s made of PETE, the same as plastic disposable water bottles, Dunno if it is safe to keep using the body wash. Shame that it is new.
I use this body wash on my face as well as private area; just concerned about plastic leeching.
