Is body wash bad for your hair?

I heard today that body wash is bad if you put it in your hair. I use Old Spice body wash and usually put it in my hair first to get a good lather going. Is this bad to do?
I do use shampoo, just use body wash first. It’s a simple question people, no need to get all butt hurt and panties up in a bunch. Thanks to those that contributed educated responses.

yes it is. you will get dandruff and your head wil be itchy. use shampoo preferably boys because it will make ur hair soft and shiny.

yes. it results in greasy hair, and doesnt clean the hair so youd really arnt even cleaning your hair, I would say BUY SHAMPOOO!

It can leave your hair greasy, and you can get a lot of knots….not worth it!

The natural oils and replaced them with wax wouldnt say body wash is any worse if youre truly concerned about it mix in some egg for shiny protein.

it takes natural oils out more than shampoo - hair cleans itself after 6 weeks or so. i just use water.

The best almost anytime anything is in you dont want to use it because it generally compromises the old spice in you dont want to make it generally.
