how to remove body wash from hair?

yes, i did acidentally use body wash in my hair, instead of conditioner and now it wont wash out.
please help! there are strips of ‘firm’ body wash stuff and it looks and feels horrible!

p.s. i have heard you can use dish washing detergent. is this true?

    For few minutes before you do put your conditioner in after wards and let it sit on your hair for few minutes before you dont.

    depending on what body wash you used it should get out by coming through your hair with a shapoo and conditioner

    I know this one as fact:

    1/2 cup Baking soda mixed with shampoo. wash then rinse

    difinetely use hot or warm water. it will help to smoothen out your hair. rense repeatedly and im sure it will work out
