How much body wash should I use on a wash rag?

I have this long washrag, and I think I may be using too much body wash on it. I pour axe shower gel from one end to the other. Is this too much and how much should I use?

The bottle it says to put nickel or quarter size squeeze on the rag.

I’d use about 3-4 squeezes
